I’ve wanted to try making something like this for a long time, and having to cook for myself gives me the leeway to fail :)

Spinach and mozzarella rolled in inexpertly sliced chicken breast on top of tomato and carrot slices.

I’ve got such a backlog of photos to edit and/or post that I lost track of what has been posted where, so I figure I’ll just try to work my way backwards, again.

Caramel and chocolate cake on Flickr.

This is the caramel cake. Personally my least favourite out of the three. Probably because I’m not a fan of just caramel alone. I couldn’t really taste much caramel or chocolate, so it just felt like bland fluff to me.

This is the raspberry “Macaron aux Framboises” cake, fully translates to “raspberry cake of raspberry cake”. The good balance between the smooth cream and not-too-sweet raspberry ties with the opéra cake.

This is the chocolate and coffee opéra cake. Rich in coffee and chocolate, this cake ties with the raspberry cake as the better two of the three.
